The University of California System has nine undergraduate campuses.
Students use one application to apply to one or more campuses. The
publication “Introducing the University” provides a detailed description of
each campus, entrance requirements, college majors and other helpful
information. California high schools have copies of this publication for you.

For the first time, UC has a wait-list process for fall freshman
admissions for all campuses except UCLA and Merced. Acceptance
offers for students on the wait list will be sent by June 1.

CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITIES:
The California State University System has 23 campuses. Students may
apply online at: www.csumentor.edu Additional information on each
campus is also available at this website.
COMMUNITY COLLEGES:
The California Community College system has over 100 campuses
throughout the state of California. Admission is offered to any student who
is a high school graduate, a person 18 years of age or any person who has
passed the California High School Proficiency Exam.
The community colleges offer a variety of programs to enable students to
transfer to a four-year college or university. Career programs are also
available as well as certificates of achievement for vocational programs.
Some campuses also have dorms for students.
